Affordable Housing Resources, Inc. (AHR) is a nonprofit organization that creates affordable housing and strong neighborhoods in 40 Middle Tennessee counties through a range of services, including homebuyer education, mortgage lending, and new home construction.

To get ahead in life, one needs a way to develop equity. The historic way Americans create equity is through homeownership. We are committed to helping Tennessee’s workforce develop equity via owning their home through providing homeownership opportunities for low- to moderate-income families.

Since forming more than 30 years ago, AHR has assisted more than 20,000 people buy their first home as well as developed and sold more than 1,600 single-family homes.
